Make Education Fair
The Australian Young Liberals want to make education fair.
Bias at our high schools and university campuses has reached epidemic proportions. Many of our student members have approached us with numerous stories of this bias being expressed by teachers, reflected in the curriculum or a hostile atmosphere for Liberals who cannot freely express their views.
We need your help to compile a list of all these examples to highlight just how big this problem is.

if you have experienced any bias either at school or university.
What are we doing?
The Young Liberal movement is concerned about fairness in education. We are going to compile a list of examples of bias. This list will include:
- Any stories or examples of bias you can relate to us
- Scans and photocopies of biased textbooks or curriculum
- Other evidence of bias in schools and in universities
Why are we doing it?
Recently, Federal Young Liberal President Noel McCoy was quoted in the West Australian quoting the example of a student who was told not to write an essay in favour of WorkChoices, or she would get marked down. There are many, many more examples of this occurring on campuses around the country. We would like to ensure our members continue to have the right to exercise freedom of thought and expression.
